Finally, in an effort to educate the home-buying public of all ages, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has unveiled a new website to improve the financial literacy of Americans. The goal is to help the public enter the home buying arena with eyes wide open, sustain healthy homeownership, and achieve financial security. The website, called “My Money, My Home, My Future,” covers such critical topics as:

9 Steps to Buying a Home
Housing Counselors and Lenders
Banking, Credit and Building Wealth
Foreclosure Process and Alternatives
Refinancing Loans and FHA Insured Loans

There also is a self-assessment tool that helps users understand the necessary and correct steps to own a home, refinance a home, enhance their financial skills, and much more.

Visit the link via  www.HUD.gov  and click on the heading:
My Money, My Home, My Future

It’s great stuff!

  1. Nice post. I think the best way to stop foreclosure is the produce-the-note strategy. I live in Tampa and know one person he helped, and it actually worked. This site has all the videos on the strategy. Watch all the videos here: http://tinyurl.com/bozo2d
